Today was the eighth day of STN. Today we moved out of the house that we have been staying  at for the past few days. We got up early int the morning and packed the cars. We then left for the hotel. We arrived there and then we had to wait a while because our rooms were ready. After what felt like an hour, one of the rooms were ready. We then put our bags in there and left for a fast food place called Sonic. I had a double bacon burger and it was good. We went to an outlet mall and went shopping for a a little were I bought a lot of jelly beans. We then left the mall and went back to the hotel. Some of the groups were at a different mall and did not get home till a lot later. When our group go track, we distributed all the bags out to all of the rooms that they belonged to. After that, we waited for a little bit so that all of the groups could get together, and then we went to eat at Olive Garden. I shared a big plate of Calamari with my friend Dalson. The food took a really long time to arrive, so by the time that we finished eating, we were late to meet up with our Florida pen pals. We went to a place called Wonder Worx that was filled with interactive science exhibits. We then continued through the place till we got to the laser tag place. I got the highest score in laser tag out of the entire class. I got over seven thousand, while the next closest score was about four thousand. After Wonder Worx, we event back to the hotel room and went to bed.

  Today was the sixth day of our STN Trip. We woke up and I hand a pop tart for breakfast. We then went to Universal studios. It was really fun there. We first rode the Despicable Me Minion Madness ride. It was a simulation ride, but it was not as good as the Harry Potter ride. We then rode a Transformers ride that was similar to the Spider Man one. We then rode a Mummy themed roller coaster. The fourth ride was the Hollywood Rip Ride Roller Coaster. This was a really fun ride. We then rode a Simpsons Simulation ride and the an ET ride. Both weren't that impressive. We then left and went to the park that we went to yesterday. We rode the Hulk ride again. We then rode a Doom ride that was not that good and not worth the hour long wait. We then went and I rode a water ride that I don't know the name of four times. We then left the parks and went home.

  Today was the sixth day of the STN trip. Today was one that started off fairly early. We woke up at six fifteen and left the house at seven fifteen. We then arrived at the Universal Theme park and went on another tour. In the tour they explained that the difference between a theme park and an amusement park is that a theme park tells a story, while an amusement park is about the rides. We went on a Spider Man moving simulation ride two times. One with the lights on so we could see the moving parts of the ride and on with the lights off so that we could experience the ride how it should be. We then rode the Hulk Ride and it was awesome. We then went on a water Jurassic Park ride. We then went to Harry Potter world where I rode two Harry Potter rides. Th first Harry Potter ride was a simulator ride like the Spider man one.After the rides, I tried butter beer and and I liked it. We then went to A carousel that I rode. It was kinda fun. After that, we rode on another little kiddy water ride. We then went to dinner at Cici's Pizza. We finally went home and then to bed.

  Today was thi fifth day of our STN Trip. Today we went to the Hollywood area of Disney World. This area has a lot more rides than EPCOT. The rides are also more fun. Lee started off again with another tour. This tour was focused on the science of Disney. It talked about inertia, centripetal force, and some other science concepts that were in the park. We learned about gravity when we went on the tower of terror, while we learned about centripetal force and magnetism. After the tour, we rode Star Tour, which is a Star Wars based ride. We then ate lunch, where I had a bacon cheeseburger. We then rode the Tower of Terror again, and my sister was utterly scared. We then played a ride where you rode on a ride and shot at targets. I beat my partner Dalson in the points that I scored. After that, we went to EPCOT, and the Oahu teacher for media proposed to his girlfriend. She said yes. We then rode Testtrack again. At the end of the day, I rode the Rockin Roller Coaster and then a two pound turkey leg. We the left EPCOT and went home.

  Today is the fourth day of the STN Trip. Today had an early start. It started at six in the morning. We got up, at breakfast, and left the house for EPCOT. When we got there, it was sorta cold, but it was awesome. We then went on a tour. The tour was about the evolution of technology. I learned that the four factors that determine the evolution of technology are political factors, social factors, economic factors and the level of technology. We also rode on a lot of rides. We rode the ride called TestTrack. You build a virtual car, and then it compares the scores to that of your peers. My car was really bad at everything except that it was incredibly efficient. After that we rode on a ride that was a simulation of an austronaut training mission. When this was done, we went on another ride called Space Earth. This was a history lesson that I have no idea what the topic was about. We then walked around EPCOT and got lunch. I had chicken cutlet curry. After lunch, we walked around a Japanesse store that had some pretty cool stuff. We then went to Animal Kingdom, where I rode a Mount Everest themed ride three times. We stayed there a little while longer and later left to eat at a Wendy's for dinner.

   Today was awesome. I got up sorta early today. It was seven when my mother woke me up. I was the last one down to breakfast. I also was the only one to shower. Breakfast was plain o'l cereal and milk. It was okay. Then I played pool in the game room for about fifteen minutes and then we left for WKMG. When we got there, it was really cool. There were a lot of computers and monitors screens. We even were lucky enough to see a live taping of the midday news. This was really interesting because you got to see how the news that you watch every day gets made. After WKMG,we ate sandwiches. I had a turkey sandwich and it was delicious. After lunch, we went to full sail university. We got tours of the university and got to see all of its cool features. One of the cool features was the audio temple. It was a raised recording station. It was raised so that when cars drive by, the vibrations that they make don't create sound that would mess up the recording. The down side was that there were a lot of scary people smoking. After the tour of full sail, we went to a magic vs wizards basketball game. The wizards won. The game was really cool because we had seats really close to the court. After the game, we took a picture in the middle of the court. We then drove home and went to bed.

  Today was the second day of our STN trip. Today was definitely better than yesterday. There was no really long uncomfortable plane ride.I also got to sleep really long. This was really good because I hardly got to go to sleep yesterday. I caught up on some sleep. When I did get up, I had a lot of fun. I got up, ate breakfast, and then played a lot of air hockey. After about a solid hour of air hockey, I did my school homework. After I finished, more air hockey. After that, we want to the Amway stadium, the home of the Orlando Magic. We got a tour a learned some really interesting things. I learned that there are over a thousand displays that are like Tvs all over the center. I also learned that the magic viewer, the big Tv in the center of the quart, can move up and down. I thought that it was stuck by the ceiling and could not move. After our tour of the Amway center we went back home and played air hockey, while some of the adults went to costco to get dinner supplies. When they came back, we ate dinner and then I started playing pool and air hockey. After that, I showered and wrote my blog. Then, the day is done and I went to bed.

This is the first day of our fourteen day trip. This day was not the most fun day. It was filled with two painfully long plane rides. The first one was tolerable, but still uncomfortable. The lady in front of me reclined her chair as far back as it could go. The ride was better than the second ride because I got to sit by my friends, Dalson and Micah. We watched movies together and played games together. The second plane ride was dreadful. The person I'm front of me reclined again, so I had no leg room. I also was sitting next to two strangers. This was not fun at all. I was also extremely tired. I really do not like traveling by planes braces they make me sick. Overall, we spent thirteen hours traveling to Florida, and it was not fun. The good thing was that once we got to Florida, everything was better. I plAyed air hockey, ate, and wrote my blog. So far day one has been okay and I hope that tomorrow will be better.

   Last week in class, we had to pack all of the equipment that we would be using in Florida. Last year, not all of the groups brought enough equipment. During the competition, some of the teams found out that they did not have microphones. This year, I think that everybody has packed all of the equipment that they need. Our commercial team did. We have mics, cameras, lights, and chargers. I personally went over the equipment several times to make sure that our group would have everything that we would need.

   In two days, our whole media class will be taking a trip to Florida. This is so we can participate in the annual STN Convention. This is the biggest media competition that we compete in. I am looking forward to the convention itself,  going to Florida, and playing laser tag with my FLorida pen pals.
   I am looking forward to the STN Convention because I had a lot of fun at it last year. We also did a lot of practices, so I can't wait to see if all of those practices paid off. I also want to see how well I will do, because last year, we did not even place in the commercial category, so I want to see if I have improved at all.
   I really want to go to Florida to see the state itself. I don;t remember ever going to Florida, so I think that it will be interesting to go and see all of the sites with my classmates. I also want to see if it is cold in Florida, because it is really hot and uncomfortable here in Hawaii. 
   The final thing that I am looking forward too in Florida is playing laser tag with our Florida pen pals. I don't think that I have ever played laser tag before, so I think that this will be a fun new experience. I will also get to play it with some of my friends that our in the class and going to Orlando with us. This will also give us a chance to meet our Florida pen pals in real life, which I have been waiting to do for a long time. 
   I can't wait till the three days are up. The only problem is all of the homework that I have been getting, which is because of all of the school days that I have missed. In Florida, I want to go to the convention, see Orlando itself, and play laser tag. This won't be a break form blogging though, as I will be writing one every day of the trip.
